Born on July 27, 1964 in Virginia (United States), Sandra Bullock was born into a family of artists. Her mother is a German singer and her father is an American singing teacher. Sandra is therefore fluent in German and English. Touched by the entertainment world thanks to her mother, the young girl fell in love with the theater and left for New York to fulfill her dream.
The beginnings are difficult for the aspiring actress who connects acting classes and food jobs. She chained small roles in low-budget films until 1993 when she landed the role of her life, that of Lieutenant Lenina Huxley, alongside Sylvester Stallone in Demolition Man. From then on, Sandra Bullock attracted the attention of Hollywood. After a few little-noticed films, the actress won numerous awards including the Oscar for Best Actress in 2010 for her role in The Blind Side.
