Donald Trump enrolled his son at private school Oxbridge Academy in August 2021. As the 16-year-old's classmates prepare to celebrate their traditional prom, one question is on everyone's lips: Barron Will Trump be there?
Since August 2021, Barron Trump, the son of Donald Trump, has been enrolled in the private and upscale school of Oxbridge Academy, in West Palm Beach, Florida. A sophomore in this establishment at 29,500 euros a year, the 16-year-old teenager can now take part in an unmissable event in American schools: the prom. According to information revealed by the tabloid The Sun this Saturday, April 30, 2022, the classmates of the only son of Melania and Donald Trump have opted for a theme inspired by the adventures of James Bond.
According to our colleagues, the students of Oxbrige Academy compete in creativity to invite their sweethearts to accompany them to the ball, posting the photos of their requests on a special Instagram account. One sign in particular stood out on the social network, referring to Donald Trump's campaign slogan and playing on his last name: "You Trump every girl. Make prom great again with me?" ("You surpass all the girls. Would you like to return his glory to the ball with me?"). For the moment, no one knows yet if Barron Trump has planned to attend the festivities or if he will prefer to wait for the prom of his senior year of high school, scheduled for 2024.
If the son of the former president chooses to go to his prom, the security of the premises will have to be guaranteed. This is already the case on a daily basis on campus: when Barron Trump joined the school, the administration sent a whole battery of emails to warn parents of the presence of the secret services on the 22 hectares of the academy. "They want to have as little impact as possible on our daily activities," said the secretariat about the young boy's protection officers. "They have already provided protection for the children of other former presidents. They are fantastic."

Donald Trump's decision to enroll his son in this new school sparked some criticism last August. If the establishment stands out with its 170 courses, its high-level sports teams, its numerous artistic programs, and its small class sizes (on average only 14 students per class), its founder, William I. Koch, proves to be be a longtime supporter of the Republican party, which Donald Trump represented.
Created in 2011, this school has experienced in the space of only 10 years a case of sexual harassment and financial fraud. According to the local newspaper the Palm Beach Post, a complaint for "sexual harassment, in a hostile work environment and retaliation", was filed in 2015 by Ulle Boshko against former CEO Robert Parsons. A second investigation uncovered "bribes, grade changes, overspending, and violations of the rules that govern sports at this high school."
