Stephanie Grisham, who worked for five years in different roles as a senior adviser to Donald and Melania Trump, recounts her memories of that time in her book 'I'll Take Your Questions Now' (I'll answer her questions now).
The story will be published next Tuesday, October 5. However, "CNN" obtained an advance copy and revealed some of Grisham's descriptions of Melania Trump, who, by many, is the most secretive first lady in modern American political history.
It should be noted that Grisham worked as director of communications and chief of staff for the former first lady, so she knows several of her most intimate details.
In fact, The Washington Post contacted Melania Trump's office to inquire about the book, which she said in a statement:
"The intent behind this book is obvious. It is an attempt to redeem herself after a poor performance as a press secretary, failed personal relationships, and unprofessional behavior in the White House. Through falsehood and betrayal, she seeks to gain relevance and money." at Mrs Trump's expense."
Now, here are five things exposed in Grisham's book about the former first lady:
She read her own press
Although when she lived in the White House Melania was not very expressive in terms of comments made about her, Grisham says that the former president's wife used to read what the press wrote about her.
"Like her husband and all of her children, Mrs. Trump sifted through her press clippings like a master architect focusing on blueprints. No detail was missed, nothing was missed. She had Google alerts set to her and saw it all," wrote the author of the book.
She was out of her office
Grisham commented that Melania did not spend much time in the spacious 'suite' that she was assigned, but that she used to work from her house, long before covid-19 was present. The Secret Service even called her 'Rapunzel' because she stayed "in her tower".
"We had meetings in person, but they were usually held in the map room across from the elevators to the residence. There we would plan schedules, respond to urgent inquiries and discuss goals," Grisham said.
The author further said that the former first lady spent a lot of time on her personal care: "She believed that relaxation was essential to one's beauty regimen, as were, of course, spa treatments and facials." .
The relationship between Melania and Ivanka Trump
According to Grisham, there was tension between Donald Trump's wife and daughter because Ivanka, who was called "the princess" by her stepmother, wanted to be the center of attention at public events and trips.
According to the former adviser's letter, Melania was a protocol student and used to be very rigorous in respecting the traditions of the countries that are reserved only for a president and her spouse, not for the president's daughter and her husband.

Infidelity rumors
When Donald Trump's infidelity allegations with porn actress Stormy Daniels and former 'Playboy' model Karen MacDougal broke in 2018, Melania is said to have taken a separate motorcade to get to that year's State of the Union address. However, this information was not confirmed.
However, Grisham said that the woman was angry with her husband and she did not want to expose herself publicly with him.
"I felt that Mrs. Trump was embarrassed, and that she wanted him to be embarrassed too. I don't know if he is capable of that or not," Grisham wrote.
Melania and the jacket
In 2018, the former first lady appeared in a green jacket that said 'I really don't care. You?' during a visit to a Texas detention center.
According to the former adviser, Melania possibly did not know the criticism that she was going to receive for the message on the jacket just when she was going to a cause of concern for the country at that time.
Grisham also assured that then President Donald Trump seemed upset by the situation and looked at his wife to say: "What the hell were you thinking?"
