Doing love scene was scary, challenging: Reese Witherspoon
Actress Reese Witherspoon says that she wanted to be completely honest to her role and that's why she did the romance scenes in her forthcoming movie "Wild".
The 38-year-old who portrays the role of novelist Cheryl Strayed in the movie, admits that she wanted to be as real and truthful as possible.
"I had to make a choice when I decided to do the film on how much I wanted to bear, I have a real story to tell here because Cheryl was completely honest when she wrote her book," she said.
With that mindset, the Academy Award winner agreed to do some n-k-d scenes for the big-screen adaptation of the novel with the same name.
When asked how she felt doing the romance scenes in the film, she said: "It was scary and challenging. It's not just a movie about somebody walking. It's really about someone who feels profoundly hurt and lost."
In the film, Witherspoon will be playing a former heroin addict who decided to tackle a 1,100-mile hike after experiencing several tragic events, mainly a devastating divorce caused by drug use and infidelity.
