'It was a weird day': Kate Beckinsale winces as she gets her toes s-cked by female co-star in bizarre erotic scene for new comedy series Guilty Party

Kate Beckinsale was left wincing as she had her toes s-cked in bizarre scenes from her new comedy series, Guilty Party.

The actress plays a discredited journalist who is fixed on restoring her reputation in the dark comedy series that premiered over in the US, earlier this month.

In one erotic scene, Kate appears in character as writer Beth Baker while having her toe s-cked by another woman.

The footage sees Kate wincing and pulling away from the woman who seductively licks the bottom of her feet and sucks her toes, before asking: 'You want me to lick your nipples?'

Guilty Party follows Beth as she tries to revive her reputation as a journalist by following a story that centres around a woman who denies murdering her husband.

While researching into the the case, Beth stops to interview a woman named Donna, played by Helen Hayden.

Not realising Donna is a call girl, Beth refuses s-x Donna's offer of s-x, but agrees to let her suck on her toes instead.

Wincing as Donna starts licking the sole of her foot, Kate's character who is sat down on a sofa, pulls herself backwards as she cries: 'Oh god.'

Discussing the scene, Kate revealed she had weirdly been sent her own feet by someone with a foot fetish on Instagram prior to filming.

In a video interview with Swedish publication FilmTopp, she said: 'It was a really weird day.

'Somebody had sent me an article that morning of, I guess, Instagram's top foot fetishes, saying that I was his favourite feet - which by the way, I'm not particularly attracted to my own feet, they're not like something I ever think about. So I was already feeling a bit hunted in the foot department.'

Kate also revealed she felt 'so bad' for her co-star Helen, who was only on set for one day and had to suck her toes.

Speaking to Collider, the Pearl Harbor star said she refused a foot double for the close-up shots of the scene as she didn't want to make Helen suck the toes of two people.

'I had not met her beforehand. You read the script and then this person turns up. She was just perfectly brilliant and so lovable. At one point, they were like, "You know, we have a foot double for you."

'And I was like, “Okay, I don’t know how that’s gonna work because there’s all these wide shots where it’s clearly me.” And they went, “Yes, but for the close-ups, the foot double will do it.”

'I said, “That means that girl’s got to have two people’s feet in her mouth. At least we’ve broken the ice. Let’s just carry on.” So, I did all of it.'

Kate recalled: 'I felt so bad for her. That’s the thing. She was on set for a day, and that’s what she had to do. We had an awkward, "Oh, hello. Nice to meet you." And the next thing, she was swallowing my feet,' Kate recalled.

'She was so nice as well. I felt terrible. My make-up artist and I were bleaching and scrubbing and perfuming. We probably chemically poisoned her, but I didn’t want to smell a bit sock-ish.'

Kate added that she didn't do anything she 'wasn't comfortable' on set, as she insisted it was 'really fun to play' a character that constantly overreacts and winds up doing 'reckless' things.

Guilty Party premiered on 14 October on streaming service Paramount Plus, with fans able to tuck into the first two episodes of the show.

Originally Isla Fisher was in the running to play Kate's character Beth, with her addition to the series confirmed in March 2020 before she later dropped out regarding concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

In December last year, it was announced that Kate would be replacing her in the lead role.

She stars alongside Geoff Stults, who plays her onscreen husband Marco Baker, Jules Latimer, Tiya Sircar, Alanna Ubach and Laurie Davidson.
