Scottish actor James McAvoy has thrown down what is surely one of the most common fantasies in the male gender. The interpreter has assured that kissing Angelina Jolie was not sexy at all, but rather embarrassing. McAvoy had to do it during the filming of the film "Wanted", by Timur Bekmambétov.
In an interview carried out yesterday by the magazine "Joy" and echoed by Efe, the actor - this year's candidate for an Oscar for "Expiation" - praises his co-star's ability to keep his feet on the ground in "Wanted", as well as the fact that she "always laughs at herself".
McAvoy admits that as a child, his dreams came down to becoming a football player and buying a boat.
The actor, who rose to fame in director Kevin McDonald's "The Last King of Scotland," grew up in Glasgow and says he embodies the "typical Scottish cliché." "I have my money in the Royal Bank of Scotland, my check book has the Scottish emblem, I only drink Scotch whiskey and I have a kilt under which I never wear anything," he explains in the interview.
