Joe Biden (77 years old) has just become the new president of the United States after several days of uncertainty and tight scrutiny. In this way, the Democratic candidate will take over from Donald Trump (74) and, in addition, will do so as the president with the most votes in history.
The new president will settle in the White House with his wife, Jill Biden (69), whose figure has taken on special relevance in recent days, as has happened with the outgoing first lady, Melania Trump (50). In fact, both women have been two of the protagonists of this agonizing electoral week.
Their goal is the same, but neither has to do with the other. They are separated by 19 years of age, their way of being and even dressing. Precisely, these moments of political anguish have served to know in greater depth the personality of each one.
Melania, until now the first lady, has been cold, silent and serene. Her support for Donald Trump has been from a distance. This week, as he delivered her speech, she remained rigid, neutral, and silent. Jill Biden, for her part, has been the complete opposite. Recently, she has seen the Democrat's wife close, participatory and cheerful. Although the mask has hidden her smile, her gaze expressed happiness.

She began her career when she was just 16 years old and was on the cover of some magazines. Her passion for her fashion even linked her to Donald Trump. In 2010, already being his wife, she created her own jewelry line. Additionally, she marketed a skincare collection.
Melania and Donald Trump met in 1998, at a party held during New York Fashion Week. Then the tycoon had four children, a divorce and was married to his second wife, Marla Maples (57). Some time later they began their romance and, although they had some breakups, they got engaged at Fashion Week in 2004. They finally said 'yes, I do' in 2005 and a year later their only child was born together, Barron William ( 14). Beyond these details, very little is known about the private life of the former model. She has always been characterized by being discreet and reserved.
Jill Biden is also a mother. From her marriage to Joe Biden, her only daughter, Ashley (39), was born in 1981. So, the Democrat already had experience in fatherhood. With his first wife, Neilia, he had three children -two of them deceased-. The teacher, originally from New Jersey, had also been married for just over five years to Bill Stevenson.
