Melania Trump First Lady’s modelling history revealed

Melania Trump wife of Donald Trump, had a successful career as a model before she became First Lady, which included featuring in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Melania Trump, 47, is the wife of Donald Trump, 71, and the First Lady of the United States.

However, Melania – born Melanija Knavs, and later Melania Knauss – had a successful modelling career earlier on in her life.

She began working as a model at the young age of five, and at 16 she started modelling in adverts.

At the age of 18, she signed up with a modelling agency in Milan, Italy.

Melania also studied architecture and design at the University of Ljubljana for a year, but subsequently dropped out.

In 1992, she was runner up in Jana Magazine’s Look of the Year competition.

She moved to New York in 1995, where she was represented by Metropolitan Model co-owner Paolo Zampolli.

Melania met her future husband Donald Trump two years later, at her agent Paolo’s party.

Melania modelled for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2000, appearing in a series of bikini beach shots.

She married Donald in an Anglican service on January 22 2005 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Melania acted in an Aflac advert later that year, appearing in a strange clip where her voice was stolen and give to a duck.

Since the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016, Melania has supported her husband’s political career.

She told CNN in 2016 that she would focus on helping women and children if she were to become First Lady.

Since becoming First Lady of the United States on January 20 2017, Melania has hosted numerous White House events such as a lunch for International Women’s Day in March 2017.

She also hosted an event for Black History Month at the White House earlier this month.

Earlier this week, Melania stunned in a £2,000 red coat she wore to visit sick children on Valentine’s Day.

The 47-year-old old former model, originally from Slovenia, made Valentine’s Day cards with the children in Bethesda, Maryland.
