In late June 2014, Shia LaBeouf, best known for being the protagonist of the Transformers saga, was arrested on charges of "criminal mischief and disorderly conduct" during a Broadway show.
The actor was imprisoned one day and assures that it was one of the worst experiences of his life. "The day I spent in jail was terrifying. I was there for about 24 hours but it seemed like forever. The whole time I had a security mask and a straitjacket on," LaBeouf revealed during his visit to the television show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
After this traumatic experience, Shia was admitted to a clinic to overcome his alcohol addiction problems and today he can assure that he is "on the right track" again. “I went through an existential crisis, which led me to make certain explorations. I had some missteps and some errors in judgment, but I'm fine now, "said the actor.
