Sylvester Stallone: Arnold Schwarzenegger would win in a fight
Sylvester Stallone claims that Arnold Schwarzenegger would beat him in a fight.
The action superstars enjoy a jokey punch up in their forthcoming film The Escape Plan with Sly admitting that Arnie would win a real-life battle.
He quipped: ‘Arnold would debate me into killing myself. He would talk me into doing it. Like in Silence of the Lambs.’
Escape Plan is the first co-starring film featuring Stallone and Schwarzenegger together although the pair have appeared in The Expendables and its sequel. The former rivals recently filmed the third instalment of the action franchise in Bulgaria.
Sly claimed that there was more to being an action hero than brawn – you have to have brains too.
‘People think that action is easy,’ he said in an exclusive interview with Metro.co.uk.
‘I’ve done drama, I’ve done Copland, it’s a whole other thing. One is a mental exercise, one is a physical exercise. It takes its toll, trust me on this.
‘I mean it’s hard but to be an action guy, not just a muscle guy, it’s here [pointing to his head]. You have to have something between your ears.’
