What it’s like to film a slove scene with Catherine Zeta-Jones

Pretending to have love on camera is easy … if it’s with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Jenny Pellicer, who stars opposite Zeta-Jones, 48, in the new Lifetime movie “Cocaine Godmother,” opened up to Page Six on Friday about their romance scenes.

“The truth is that any romance scene is not the most comfortable thing,” Pellicer told us. “It never is, and no matter how much you psych yourself up for it and go through all the preparation and do ridiculous things like try not to eat … you arrive with the best intentions.”

Despite their best efforts, Pellicer admitted that there were times they couldn’t help but break character.

“When you have pasties on all the areas you can’t show and you’re rubbing against, it gets sweaty, it just sort of gets really silly quickly,” she said. “We had a great laugh, and Catherine was so professional and lovely. We had fun with it. How can you not?

“I’m having a love scene with Catherine Zeta-Jones. She made it easy for me,” she continued. “It was lovely. It was such a pleasure.”

The good times extended beyond their lov scenes, as Zeta-Jones, Pellicer and the rest of the cast hung out together away from set, where Pellicer described the mentality as “work hard, play hard.”

“We had outrageous times,” she dished.
