Of course, sometimes you see some of other shades, but it is not usual.
The study shows that red is a color linked in the minds of people with strength and passion. Therefore, by choosing it, you want to convey a message of strength and leadership. Especially if it is a blood red.
On the contrary, blue (and also purple) are more serene colors, which give those who see them a feeling of security and confidence. For this reason, according to the report, whoever chooses a tie of that color is trying to convey the message that he is a self-confident person with whom a relationship of trust can be maintained.
For this reason, red ties would be preferred by those leaders and politicians who want to convey an image of authority, while blue would be more appropriate for the business world, as it could help establish good relationships.
