DAKOTA JOHNSON DOESN’T FEEL LIKE TAKING HER CLOTHES OFF IN MOVIES SOMETIMES
Dakota Johnson made her cinematic debut at the age of ten in the dark comedy “Crazy in Alabama.” She is currently most recognized for her role in the Fifty Shades film trilogy. Dakota recently revealed in regard to the movie that she doesn’t always feel like taking her clothes off in movies.
Johnson made a humorous remark about her raunchy screen past while appearing on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden in a red mini-dress. The actress felt self-conscious when she walked on stage wearing the hot scarlet number, crossing her legs, and attempted to hide her thighs with her hands while seated opposite the 43-year-old British talk-show presenter.
Corden graciously offered the screen star his jacket to protect her modesty, asking: ‘Are you okay? Are you alright? Do you want my jacket?’ To which Dakota hilariously replied: ‘I’m okay. It’s nothing nobody hasn’t already seen.’
The actress was apparently referring to her breakthrough role in the raunchy Fifty Shades of Grey erotic drama franchise, in which she played Anastasia Steele opposite Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey from 2015 to 2018. Dakota also stripped off while filming semi-n-de sequences for her 2021 thriller The Lost Daughter, which is currently available on Netflix.
“It is difficult. Some days, I don’t want to take off my clothes on set.”
“Just because I look a certain way doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings. And my character, Nina, is almost bored by her appearance. She has reached a point in her life where her hotness doesn’t match who she is anymore.”
Dakota appeared n-ked in several of the racy s-x sequences in the Fifty Shades trilogy, yet she refused to use a body double because she considers n-dity ‘beautiful.’
“No, because it would have felt like a cop-out if I did. If I was going to do this job, I was going to do it 100 per cent and give it everything.”
“I wanted to be true and honest to the role, and the character. I don’t have a problem with n-dity. I think it is beautiful and so I was OK with that.”
Dakota is the granddaughter of Alfred Hitchcock heroine Tippi Hedren and the daughter of veteran Hollywood icons Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Dakota is at least doing her work honestly, even if she has second thoughts about it at times. Keep an eye on Thirsty for the latest updates.
