Psychologist Alleges Amber Heard Suffers PTSD From Johnny Depp's 'S-xual Violence' As Trial Continues

As the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard libel trial continues into its third week, testimony from clinical and forensic psychologist Dr. Dawn Hughes was presented on Tuesday, May 3.

In Hughes's testimony, she alleged that Heard continues to experience PTSD due to Depp inflicting it during her marriage.

"There are a number of reported incidents of s-xual violence in this relationship," Hughes testified, as reported by Deadline. “Those are documented from the very beginning… when Mr. Depp was drunk or on drugs. He threw her on the bed, ripped off her nightgown and tried to have s-x with her.”

According to Hughes, during those instances where the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star "wasn't able to perform," she became "even more enraged."

“There were times when he forced her to give him oral s-x when he was angry; These were not moments of love, these were moments of anger," Hughes continued. "Moments of dominance, moments of him trying to control her."

Hughes also detailed an alleged attack that took place while Heard and Depp were in Australia while filming the fifth "Pirates" movie, in which Depp allegedly penetrated Heard with a bottle; at the time, Heard reportedly recalled hoping he "wasn't the broken one."

In Hughes's testimony, he claimed that Depp "shoved Heard, pushed her, slapped her with the back of his hand, choked her, slammed her into the wall, pushed her, and when she fell, he kicked her in the back." ”. Depp and her legal team have consistently denied that he was ever violent towards her.

As Deadline points out, Hughes was brought in by Heard's legal team to refute the testimony of Depp's witness, Dr. Shannon Curry, who told the court that, in her opinion, Heard had both a borderline personality disorder personality as a histrionic personality disorder.
