Easy A director reveals Emma Stone got "physically sick" during fake s-x scene

They had to stop filming and get the doctor.

It has been a whole 10 years since Emma Stone wore that scarlet A on her chest to take on the teenage high school gossip scene in exchange for her reputation in Easy A.

The film follows 17-year-old Olive Penderghast, who, after lying to her best friend about losing her virginity, begins allowing classmates to tell people they had s-x with her to improve their popularity or hide their s-xuality.

One particular scene involves Olive and her friend Brandon (Dan Byrd), who is tired of being bullied for his s-xuality, pretending to have wild and very loud s-x at a party so he can fit in with his classmates.

Director Will Gluck has revealed that the fake teen s-x got so wild that Stone vomited during the scene.

"This was also the time that Emma had her fake asthma attack. She was jumping up on the bed so much she started getting physically sick," he told Entertainment Weekly.

"We had to stop filming. She said she had asthma. A doctor came, treated her, and at the end she said, 'I don't actually have asthma; I'm just out of shape.'"

Gluck also revealed that the bed broke twice during filming — no wonder Stone thought she was having an asthma attack!

The film was an unexpected hit and had an all-star cast, including Penn Badgley, Amanda Bynes, Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson, and there's even talk of a spin-off happening.

The original film's screenwriter, Bert Royal, will return to work on the script and make his directing debut on the film.

He teased that the plot will focus in on Olive's younger, adopted sibling Chip Penderghast as he goes through high school.

"[Chip] is part of a new generation, where everything is out in the open and instead of people protesting, you have people celebrating," Royal added.

And it sounds like Royal is open to the characters returning too, adding: "Because it's set in the same world, we're hoping we can get as many people from the original as we can.

"They all have parts, if they want them."
