Popular p-rn star Maitland Ward has revealed how the adult industry has changed her life for good.
From starring as Boy Meets World teen crush Rachel McGuire to becoming an award-winning adult film star, Maitland successfully transitioned from mainstream actress to a powerhouse p-rn star.

The 45-year-old is the 2022 XBIX performer of the year and has received the award for best actress three times.
Maitland spoke exclusively to Daily Star about what she loves about p-rn and the realities of the industry.
“I really became interested in writing erotica after Boy Meets World when I got married and moved to New York and this sparked a fascination with me to explore my own s-xuality and the world of s-xual performance,” she explained.
“Expressing myself s-xually through my art has been instrumental in me finding myself as a woman and as an actress.
“People would say you're going to ruin your image if you get into p-rn but it was the absolute opposite.
“I have found success in the adult entertainment industry and a real calling. P-rn has been a real fairytale for me.”
Adult entertainment is where Maitland thrives as it’s allowed her to explore her s-xuality.
But this isn’t to say she’s turned her back on mainstream entertainment.
She explained: “I love the freedom and expression I’m allowed in the adult industry, and I absolutely love taking control of my womanhood and s-xuality.
“I have this amazing opportunity to be wild and an untamed being as a s-xual performer, especially in special projects like Muse 2 from Deeper. It’s a means of expression you can get anywhere else.
“But I never left the mainstream space, I don’t pigeonhole myself into categories like that. I’m working on multiple mainstream projects now, including a sitcom. I am an actress in both mediums."
Working as a p-rn star has seen Maitland change as a person and as a performer and she encourages others to let themselves grow as women and as performers.
Over time she has evolved and has become more mature based on her experiences.
“I’ve learned new tricks and techniques along the way but most importantly I have honed in on what felt authentic and natural to me and went with that,” she told us.
“I love being able to just let loose in a scene and express myself in such a raw and sensual way.
“I’ve learned so much along the way as to how to be the best performer I could be, but that would be true in mainstream or anywhere.”
While some people are judged for turning to p-rn, the red-haired beauty is fortunate enough to say this hasn’t been the case for her.
Even though people questioned it in the beginning, the scripted multilayered projects she’s worked on with Deeper and Vixen Media Group and the award-winning content she’s created has helped change people’s minds.
Maitland finds that people are interested in the work she does.
She said: “They’re curious and I love that. But there’s been very little judgment and I credit that to the quality of work I’ve done and that I have no shame.”
Maitland is releasing her book, Rated X, in September. It follows her journey in Hollywood as well as her transition to p-rn
