Kaley Cuoco shot her first s-x scene in 'The Flight Attendant' and had a terrible time

After 12 years giving life to Penny in Big Bang, many would think that Kaley Cuoco might want to step away from that small screen in which we have seen her grow up since she debuted at the age of 9 in Doctor in Alaska. However, this child prodigy and queen of comedy has been able to reinvent herself without changing the medium with The Flight Attendant, a thriller with high doses of black comedy that she also produces and that has earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

This new series, which has already been renewed for a second season, has also been the first time for the actress that she has shot a s-x scene. In the first episode, stewardess Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) flirts with one of her passengers (Michiel Huisman, from Game of Thrones) on a flight to Thailand. In the Asian country, she meets him, they get drunk and end up living a night of passion before she wakes up the next morning and sees that her companion has been murdered.

In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has confessed that she was nervous about doing that first on-screen s-x scene. Fortunately, as she has revealed, she enlisted the help of Huisman, who knows something about this type of sequence after three seasons playing Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones.

"I had never done any kind of s-x scene and I had one in The Flight Attendant with Michiel," she recounted: "He's been in Game of Thrones, he's done all these scenes, and I had no idea." So, Cuoco has gone on to tell how uncomfortable the shoot was. "When they yelled 'Cut!' I hovered over him like I was in a bathroom. 'I'm not going to touch anything, I'm not going to look at anything.' I didn't know what to do," she explained.

"He said to me: 'You are acting very strange, you are making this much more difficult than it has to be'. But I was totally out of my element," the actress has finished recounting, recalling that confusing moment.

The interpreter will soon get back into the skin of Cassie in the second season of the HBO Max series, based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian. Little has transpired about this new installment, totally unexpected since the fiction had been conceived as a miniseries, but they are expected to return alongside Cuoco Rosie PĂ©rez (Megan), Zosia Mamet (Annie), Griffin Matthews (Shane), TR Knight (Davey ) or Michelle Gomez (Miranda), among others.
