So it IS true! Lindsay Lohan admits being 'humiliated' by leaked 's-x list' as she breaks down in finale of failed reality show
It was considered by some to be nothing more than salacious gossip when a list detailing her alleged celebrity s-x partners were leaked by a magazine in March.
But now, troubled Lindsay Lohan has confirmed the authenticity of the list not only in a preview for the finale of her docu-series on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, but also during an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live that aired on Thursday night.
'The fact that that happened was not only humiliating, but just mean,' she cries in the newly-released sneak preview of the Lindsay finale, after a headline of her list of s-xual partners is displayed on the screen.
Despite previous reports that Oprah 'grew tired of hearing about Lindsay and her private life in other media outlets... while Lindsay never talked about anything like that on the show', it seems that the cameras did capture her reaction to the incident.
'The story's on Page Six right now. This actually really is annoying now. It's f***ed up and I don't want a part in it,' she bemoans.
'For those two weeks I took off, no-one knows this...' she begins through tears, before the clip ends, leaving viewers with no option but to tune in to find out just how that poignant sentence concludes.
Just last month, InTouch Weekly published part of the 36-strong list, with a number of names blanked out for legal reasons.
The following issue, they released several more names, with such alleged A-list conquests including Ashton Kutcher, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, Orlando Bloom and the late Heath Ledger.
While most of the named and shamed stars have remained silent on the matter, one person who wasn't about to take it lying down was actor James Franco, who shot down the reports in an interview with Los Angeles Magazine, saying: 'Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her people-she's-slept-with list!'
During the taping of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live in New York on Wednesday, which aired tonight, host Andy Cohen attempted to get to the bottom of the authenticity of the list once and for all.
The clearly embarrassed actress laughed and put her hand over her eyes in response, before finally replying with a non-committal: 'I cannot confirm or deny.'
'You cannot confirm or deny two of the names I just mentioned?' Andy pressed, having named Ashton Kutcher, James Franco and Orlando Bloom, among others.
'I plead the fifth,' she insisted, though Andy wouldn't accept that, reminding her that she had already used that out for a previous question.
She finally caved in and took ownership of writing the list, admitting that it was 'actually my fifth step
in AA [Alcoholics Anonymous] at Betty Ford'.
She continued: 'Someone, when I was moving during the OWN show, must have taken a photo of it, so that's a really personal thing. It's really unfortunate. And I talk about it in the last episode of the show, so to be continued...'
While her eight-part docu-series hasn't been renewed for a second season following dismal ratings
- with just 700,000 viewers tuning in for the premiere - Lindsay's tearful reaction to her leaked list,
as well as her admission of alcoholism, could see viewers tuning in in droves for the two-hour finale airing this Sunday, April 20.
Finally getting real about the depth of her issues with alcohol, Lindsay also opens up about her struggle with sobriety in the final episode.
'It's a really f***ed up disease and it's really scary,' she sobs as she discusses her alcoholism in the preview.
Her 26-year-old brother, Michael Lohan Jr, also speaks in support of his sibling.
'She's such a brilliant girl and such a smart girl, she knows that if she's thinking clearly and she's focused, that there's nothing that can stop her,' he tells the camera, as he pauses before adding: 'But even if there is a relapse, it's not the end of the world.'
As the former Mean Girls star is filmed during a night out at a bar with friends who are swigging champagne in her presence, she seems to have a moment of clarity in terms of just how far she's fallen from the once in-demand actress who had such a promising career ahead of her.
'I'm seeing all these other actresses do all of these things and then just realising, "Oh s***, I don't have that anymore."'
Speaking of her once-stellar career, Lilo apparently indulged Andy Cohen by performing the handshake from her 1998 film The Parent Trap with him, from back when she was an innocent freckle-faced redheaded 12-year-old.
Sadly, it seems that her brother's prediction of a relapse has proved true.
Having previously admitted during an episode of her show to drinking 'a glass of wine', eyewitnesses are now reporting that Lindsay 'looked completely out of it' during last weekend's Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival.
Despite her insistence that she would remain sober and 100 per cent not fall off the wagon during the three-day event, she was allegedly under the influence as she partied with younger sister Ali Lohan while watching Kid Cudi perform from backstage.
'She couldn't stand up straight and she was frantically chain smoking cigarettes,' the source tells InTouch Weekly, adding: 'In one of her hands she had a plastic cup with a clear liquid in it.'
The insider goes on to reveal that the star's pal's weren't in the least bit shocked to see her drinking, even supplying her with vodka on regular trips to the bar.
'I overheard the friend order four vodka sodas and, when he carried them back to the group, he handed one to Lindsay and she started drinking it,' the eyewitness reports. 'She didn't seem to care who saw and none of the group seemed concerned.'
