Natalie Portman is the new Goddess of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder. For this she has had to undergo exhaustive physical training to gain strength, muscle mass and agility. We tell you in this article what her training has consisted of to achieve her impressive physical change in the film.
Sensations of Natalie Portman with the training carried out
It's wild to feel strong for the first time in my life. Natalie Portman declared that feeling for an interview with Vanity Fair in which she talked about several of her films. She further commented that her training helped her get into character and change the way she moved onstage.
She worked with her trainer Naomi Pendergast for about four months before filming and throughout the shoot. Naomi is an internationally certified Pilates instructor, personal trainer and triathlete, so Natalie Portman practiced different disciplines to gain muscle size and agility.
Just dropping these to add to the Natalifts Portman conversation.

Natalie trained six days a week for eight hours to look like a ballerina in The Black Swan. That perseverance helped her not to throw in the towel despite feeling very tired from training, since she came from a period of confinement in which she moved very little, as she herself states in a video in the following section.
We can see Lady Thor with considerable muscle mass and fitness in the previous tweet, so that discipline and training paid off.
Characteristics of the physical training of the Goddess of Thunder
The video above summarizes the main features of Natalie Portman's training to play Lady Thor in the new Thor movie. She was new to weight training so much of her improvement is due to that potential for improvement that all people who start in the gym have.
She did a lot of compound movements like squats, all kinds of pulls and pushes. She was the main part of her program in which she also did functional training to develop agility, improve flexibility and increase endurance.
High-intensity interval training was also part of her weekly sessions. This mixture of strength, resistance and tasks typical of functional training, together with the increase in protein consumption through shakes, have been the cause of the great change of the new Goddess of Thunder.
