'Passengers': Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt kiss in the first preview of the film

The sci-fi romantic drama will be directed by Morten Tyldum ('The imitation game').

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt will travel to space in Passengers, the new film by Morten Tyldum (Deciphering the Riddle) which is scheduled for release on December 28. For now, we have only been able to see some images and posters of the film, but very soon we will be able to witness the first trailer. This has been announced by Sony Pictures by publishing a short 'teaser' of nine seconds in which at the end it is anticipated that tomorrow is the day chosen to release the first advance of the film.

Set in the not too distant future, in Passengers humanity has been forced to go out in search of new planets to colonize. Getting to them is a long journey of 120 years. When the high command of Earth decides to send a group of 5,000 passengers to a distant colony, they are told that they will be subjected to an induced sleep process.

But a breakdown causes a passenger named Jim Preston (Pratt) to wake up from hibernation 60 years before reaching his destination. Desperate and faced with the prospect of growing old and dying alone, he decides to wake up a young journalist named Aurora Lane (Lawrence) who is sleeping next to him.

In addition to Lawrence and Pratt, Passengers stars Michael Sheen (Masters of S-x), Laurence Fishburne (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Aurora Perrineau (Equals). Above these lines, do not miss the 'teaser'.
