Peter O'Toole 'Slept With More Than 1000 Women, Including Audrey Hepburn'

A new biography on screen legend Peter O'Toole claims that he slept with over 1000 women, including a wealth of the most famous actresses of his era.

It’s also said that renowned ladies’ man O'Toole, who died aged 81 in 2013, also had an eight-year on-off affair with Princess Margaret while she was married to Lord Snowdon, and also another relationship with Audrey Hepburn.

In new Book ‘Peter O'Toole: Hellraiser, S-xual Outlaw, Irish Rebel’, authors Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince claim that O'Toole took up a bet from a friend for $150 that he could not sleep with the three most famous screen stars of the moment – Jayne Mansfield, Anita Ekberg and Diana Dors.

He succeeded in the challenge, and is said to have slept with 1033 women in all.

Prince told the Daily Mirror: “Off-screen, [O'Toole] starred in week-long binges and s-x orgies of near-biblical proportions.”

The book also details how O'Toole revealed that he lost his virginity aged 13 to a stripper named Bubble LaRue in Leeds, where he grew up, who taught him 'every s-xual trick I’ve known in my life’.

Elsewhere, it’s alleged that O'Toole continued a lengthy affair, on and off over eight years with Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister, after he met her at a Royal Command Performance screening of his movie 'Lord Jim’.

It’s claimed he later told a friend that he’d bathed with her in a giant tub littered with flower blossoms, adding: “We floated around in scented water with flower blossoms on the surface. For the next three days, I smelled like an over-perfumed whore.”

As well as the trio of Ekberg, Dors and Mansfield, he also claimed a decade-long affair with Elizabeth Tailor (once revealing as much to Richard Burton while drunk), and clinches with Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn.

O'Toole married only once, however, to actress Sian Phillips, with whom he had two daughters, Kate and Patricia. He also had a son, Lorcan, who is now also an actor, when he was 50 with the model Karen Brown.

Best known for his iconic role as T.E. Lawrence in David Lean’s epic 'Lawrence of Arabia’, O'Toole died in December 2013 of natural causes.
