Now that Melania Trump is set to become first lady of the United States, she is under intense scrutiny, and questions have arisen as to Melania’s IQ. Her former professor, Blaz Matija Vogelnik of Slovenia’s University of Ljubljana, has dismissed assumptions about the intelligence of his former student.
Vogelnik explains that Melania Trump was able to pass a “rigorous” test in order to enter the Slovenia University of Ljubljana, and this indicates to him that “her IQ was very high,” CNBC has
This summer, Melania’s website stated that she had earned a degree in architecture and design in Slovenia. While the university she attended was not specifically listed, her personal site says that she was busy modelling at the time as well as “jetting between photo shoots in Paris and Milan.” President-elect Donald Trump’s website says that Melania “paused her studies to advance her modelling career in Milan and Paris.”
While a person’s level of education has nothing to do with their IQ, Blaz Matija Vogelnik is quick to add that while Melania Trump didn’t finish her university education at Slovenia’s University of Ljubljana, that is probably because she was immensely busy at the time working on her career.
“She hasn’t finished university, at least not in Ljubljana. My personal opinion is that, because she was very beautiful girl, I believe that she realized that she could gain more with that, than to have long studies.”
Speaking of Melania Trump's IQ, one interesting fact that many people might not know about Melania is that she is fluent in five languages. Growing up in communist Yugoslavia under the rule of Marshal Josip Tito, she spoke not only her native language, Slovenian, but also English, German, French, and Serbian. This will certainly be a huge advantage when she is first lady.
Melania will also be only the second foreign-born woman to hold the title of first lady. While an incredibly ambitious woman who left the concrete apartment blocks she grew up in to become a supermodel, she has another softer side and has chosen to stay out of the limelight while her husband, Donald, has done his campaigning. She has done this in order to stay at home in New York and look after the couple's 10-year-old son, according to CNN.
When Donald Trump becomes president, Melania Trump has some very intelligent ideas for things that she will choose to focus on when she assumes the role of first lady. She is spearheading a campaign to combat bullying, something that is extremely detrimental to many young people these days. And she has said that fighting cyber-bullying is going to be one of her big "main focuses." Melanie discusses how social media has become "too mean and rough" and how it is full of put-downs based on things likes "looks and intelligence."
"It is never OK when a 12-year-old girl or boy is mocked, bullied or attacked. It is terrible when it happens on the playground, and it is absolutely unacceptable when it is done by someone with no name hiding on the internet. We have to find a better way to talk to each other. We must find better ways to honor and support the basic goodness of our children, especially in social media."
"If a man says this, I would kill him, but maybe because she's so beautiful we don't expect her to be as smart as she is."
