The actress ends the relationship for which the millionaire left his family in the summer
One of the most persecuted couples in the entertainment world has ended its stormy and controversial relationship. Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty are no longer dating, in the London-based Anglo-American actress's own words. "At the moment I am single and I am completely happy," Miller, 26, told Us Magazine. "It's very nice to leave a relationship that the press constantly wanted to meddle in. I'm fine on my own."
And it is that the romance of Jude Law's ex with the millionaire actor Balthazar Getty, 33, has not been easy at all. The couple's affair took place in July of this year, while Getty was still married to his wife Rosetta, with whom he has four children. A paparazzi captured the actors on a boat in Italy: she topless and he hugging her and kissing her openly.
The photos went around the world and, a few weeks later, Getty announced that his marriage was over. "In light of the many photographs that have been published both in the press and on the Internet, which have caused me and my family immense embarrassment, I feel that it is necessary to at least make it known publicly that without a doubt my wife and I we have separated and that we will not make any further comments," he declared at the time.
But the romance was not positive for Miller either. In August, the actress's London house woke up overnight with a graffiti that read the word "whore". As a result of that and the repeated insistence of the English press, Miller left London to spend time at her father's house in New York. Her mother, at the time, told the British newspaper Daily Express: "I don't understand how a woman who sees a man who has been separated for so many months causes a scandal of these proportions. It's terrible, inexplicable. I can't imagine when it will end."
