Sophie Turner had fans concerned after she was photographed crying in New York City yesterday with her fiancé Joe Jonas. The Game of Thrones star was spotted covering her face and holding onto her man during an outing in the city, but it was unknown why she had gotten emotional.
However, later that day, Turner cleared the air on Twitter: it was that time of month. "Lol. Thank god I have a loving fiancé. Periods are a bitch," she wrote. Preach.
Turner's tweet also shut down speculation that she was shedding tears over her relationship with Jonas. But the actress seems to be enjoying engaged life.
She previously told Marie Claire, "It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person."
Sophie's emotional moment comes weeks after Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were also seen crying in New York. Photos showed the newly-engaged couple taking turns consoling each other during a bike ride and at a restaurant in Manhattan, which left fans questioning.
But the reason why was much different. When paparazzi asked Bieber what caused the emotional moment, Bieber simply held up a book called The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God.
"You got good days and you got bad days," he told TMZ. "It's not real if it doesn't have any bad days."
