After months of uncertainty, it was the singer herself who confessed in an interview with the magazine "Elle" the truth about her relationship with the actor
The chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in the movie "A Star Is Born" – and in the subsequent Oscar gala – surpassed the big screen. There were many who wondered if there was something else between them, also encouraged by the sentimental breakups of both with their respective partners: the singer did not marry Christian Carino and Irina Shayk and the actor ended their relationship after a daughter in common.
After months of uncertainty, it was Lady Gaga herself who confessed in an interview with "Elle" magazine the truth about her relationship with Bradley. In it, she made it clear that there was nothing between them and that the times they talked about it, they both thought they did a good job.
"We wanted the audience to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted that story to reach all the television screens where the gala was being watched. And we work very hard to achieve it. We rehearsed for quite a few days and planned every second of the Oscar performance as if it were a movie, and the feeling went far and wide around the world," she stated.
And she added: "Actually, every time we've talked about these rumors, the only thing we think is that if people have believed them, it's because we did a great job." Lady Gaga ends by confessing that they themselves invented that story and fed those rumors: «To be honest, I think the press is pretty dumb. I mean we invented that love story. And for me, as an actress, of course I wanted people to think it was real."
