Donald Trump reimbursed the lawyer who paid p-rn actress Stormy Daniels

The US government ethics body published a list of payments from Donald Trump to his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, which could include a sum to pay for the silence of p-rn actress Stormy Daniels.

Donald Trump paid his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, more than $100,000 in 2017. Apparently, this sum could have been used to pay for the silence of Stormy Daniels, a p-rn actress who claims to have had s-xual relations with the current president of USA in a hotel in 2006.

Trump, who at that time was already married to his current wife Melania Trump, has flatly denied the alleged affair and had so far denied knowledge that Cohen had made any payment to the actress. Attorney Cohen, for his part, agreed to pay $130,000 to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

However, the document published yesterday by the Ethics Office of the US government reports a series of expenses that Cohen would have made on behalf of Trump for a value between 100,000 and 250,000 dollars.

Expense statement is a glimpse into Trump's finances

The president, considered a federal employee, is required to declare his annual expenses. Although the declaration for the 2016-2017 period did not include the payment, in the form for 2017 the reimbursement is included but in a footnote, "for the sake of transparency" as can be read on page 45 of the document .

In this note it also appears that the lawyer asked Trump for reimbursement of expenses in 2017. This return had been revealed by Rudy Giuliani earlier in the month during a television interview. Giuliani, who has been with Trump's legal team for a few weeks, said Cohen had reimbursed the $130,000 he paid the actress.

In that interview, Giuliani said that the payment was expected to silence "the false and extortive accusation" of Daniels, hinting that this complaint could harm the then-candidate's campaign. Something that Trump denied shortly after, in addition to asking Giuliani to put his memory of the events in order.

The 92-page statement also accounts for Donald Trump's finances since he became president. His operations and investments amount to 453 million dollars, and his assets are estimated at 1.4 billion dollars.

As for its hotels, the Trump International Hotel in Washington, which attracts lobbyists, legislators and foreign officials who do business with the federal government, is going from strength to strength, while the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, which some tend to called 'the winter White House', reported about 10 million dollars less profit.
