Hugh Jackman felt the pressure kissing co-star Nicole Kidman

Jackman actually stated that it was pretty awkward, and he didn't look forward to kissing his co-star. "It's never particularly comfortable making out with someone in front of 70 people," Jackman said of kissing Kidman, as reported by Elle.

Before he was Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Hugh Jackman starred in a highly romantic film alongside Nicole Kidman, Australia. The two played lovers and their scenes were pretty steamy. Of course, both actors were already married when the 2008 movie was filming, but that doesn't mean the kissing scenes were any easier.

Additionally, Jackman told Express that his own wife — Deborra-Lee Furness, who used to live with Kidman and remains close friends with her — wasn't even comfortable watching them. "Needless to say Deb wasn't on set when we had our kissing scenes," he explained.

"That would have been awkward, but we talked about it. I said, 'Let's talk about it,' and we just sort of, we both loved the project and created an atmosphere which was safe." As comfortable as that environment might have been, it's clear Jackman didn't exactly enjoy kissing Kidman.
