Margot Robbie has teased some pretty epic scenes in the upcoming The Suicide Squad movie, revealing they were the ‘most difficult’ scenes she’s ever shot.
The actress, who plays Harley Quinn, made the revelation during a DC FanDome Q&A with fans, as they asked what the toughest scene to film was.
She explained: ‘I don’t want to give it away… When you watch the movie, it’s probably about halfway through.
‘There’s an insane sequence that Harley does which was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever shot onscreen.
‘And we shot it in like four days and I remember looking at the schedule and being like “Oh my god, we’re not going to be able to do this. This is gonna be impossible.”’
She admitted she was ‘really beat up’ after the gruelling sequence, but that director James Gunn messaged her after to say it ‘looks amazing’.
Margot continued: ‘That whole sequence apparently looks really cool, so when you see the movie, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.’
Fans of Harley Quinn will be familiar with the many high-energy fight scenes the character has already been through – including one on rollerskates in Birds of Prey – so it’s exciting to think they apparently pale into insignificance compared to what’s coming up.
The Suicide Squad also stars Idris Elba, John Cena, Viola Davis, Pete Davidson and Sean Gunn among others.
James also shared some photos of the table read for the new film, in which Margot, Sean, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker and more stars could be seen.
