Michael Douglas's s-x addiction

In a historical review of the cycles, characters and figures that marked a moment in international entertainment, Hoy newspaper recalls this stage in the life of the Hollywood heartthrob.

It was 1993 when two Hollywood stars, Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas, were summoned to work on a high-voltage project entitled Low Instincts. The direction would be in charge of Paul Verhoeven and the script under the pen of Joe Eszterhas. However, despite the spark that crossed the screen, the chemistry between the protagonists was not the best, and in private they did not have any type of connection, beyond the lines that appeared in the scripts.

In this way, both did their jobs, gloated over the success of the film, which would become a cult film, and then continued with their prominent careers. Being tempted with this film, the movie heartthrob Michael Douglas already had a consecrated career and accepted without hesitation, not knowing that then he would begin a search that would lead him to a new addiction, which would cost him a marriage and bring him problems of Health.

It happens that, at that time, the actor was going through an addiction to alcohol that he could not fight despite his repeated treatments in rehabilitation centers. This led to him granting an interview and the specialized communicators, aware of his new preferences, branded him as obsessive-compulsive as a result of the recording of the film that contained pornographic scenes. In addition, the artist used drugs, and this explosive cocktail led his wife to throw him out of the common house and introduce him to group therapy to correct these libidinous sides.

Some time later, he contracted cancer and hinted that, perhaps, one of the causes was the excess of oral s-x that he had practiced throughout his life without any protection, and that is why he wanted to draw attention in order to raise awareness and promote the use of prophylaxis. Also, at that time, he provided information about a gynecological disease that could be spread s-xually and have serious consequences. Although the press, the followers and, especially, his relatives advised him to call for silence.

Douglas was married for the first time to a member of the Austrian diplomatic society, named Diandra Luker. Then he linked up with a colleague with whom he knew how to share more than one project, such as Kathtleen Turner, and both worked on The Jewel of the Nile, The War of the Roses, After the Lost Emerald, among others. However, they could not sustain the bond and decided to separate. Thus he continued with other loves such as Martine McCutcheon; Maureen Dowd; Elizabeth Vargas and Brenda Vaccaro. Later, well into his adulthood, he met the diva Catherine Zeta Jones and the crush was immediate.
