Samuel L. Jackson is the consummate heel. We've seen him fight snakes on planes, play a super villain in Metal and Tumbler, and beat villains as a hero in countless other movies. One thing we haven't seen is, wait, the naughty 70-year-old parts. If you Google 'Samuel L. Jackson n-de', which we assume many ladies and gentlemen have done, all you'll find is a glimpse of the actor's derriere from the 1998 sci-fi flick Sphere.
So, Jackson apparently doesn't mind showing off the… rear assets of his, but he's never been on board to go with all the money, so to speak. In fact, you won't find a Samuel L. Jackson movie in which he appears entirely at the benefit, and he says that won't change any time soon.
The reason Samuel L. Jackson won't do a n-de scene? Well, for starters, it's just awkward.
Samuel L. Jackson finds love scenes uncomfortable
Samuel L. Jackson may be 70 years old, but he still has s-x appeal. That doesn't mean that doing a love scene in a movie is something he looks forward to. Perhaps part of the reason Jackson won't put up with it all when he gets some intim-cy on screen is because he finds it totally uncomfortable. According to Fox News, the Oscar-nominated actor believes the entire scenario is a no-win situation.
"For me, as an actor, I don't know how to do that kind of thing in a room full of people, and I tend to ask a lot of questions," Jackson told the entertainment column Pop Tarts. He added: 'Where can I touch you? Where can't I touch you? Sorry if I get turned on, sorry if I don't...
However, Jackson has filmed a few romps throughout his long Hollywood career. But he also has another, even more personal reason for not doing completely n-de scenes, and he has everything to do with vanity.
Samuel L. Jackson is worried about the size of his assets
In January 2016, Samuel L. Jackson told Howard Stern that he won't do a n-de scene because he's worried he's not big enough. Stern asked Jackson if he would show the manly parts of him on the big screen and Jackson replied, 'I could ask for a fucking stunt double.'
Of course, Stern pressed the issue, asking Jackson, 'Do you feel like your p3nis isn't big enough to show off on camera?' That's when Jackson finally found out the real reason why he won't do a n-de scene. He told Stern, 'I don't know if it's... yeah,' Jackson said, 'I don't know if it's formidable enough.' My aura is so big in movies that I don't know if my shit is big enough to fill my aura.
