The day Jennifer Aniston cried in the middle of an interview

The day Jennifer Aniston cried in the middle of an interview when she found out that Brad Pitt was going to have a child with Angelina Jolie

The "Friends" star couldn't hide her sadness when she found out the actress was pregnant by her ex-partner just two months before her divorce was finalized in 2005.

Jennifer Aniston burst into tears upon discovering that Brad Pitt was expecting a child with another woman. The actress, now 51, filmed her last Friends scene sixteen years ago, and she was ready to start a family with the actor. But things didn't go as Jen planned, as her then-husband fell in love with Angelia Jolie on the set of her movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, leaving the actress heartbroken in 2005.

"The world was surprised and I was surprised," the actress confessed when talking about her about her separation with Pitt from her after four and a half years of marriage. After the couple announced her separation to the world and even without finalizing the divorce, Aniston gave an interview to Vanity Fair, that same year, and openly expressed her feelings of loss, sadness, anger and surprise at the breakup. But it was not easy for her to speak publicly about her failed marriage to Pitt, since she was still grieving. She broke down at one point and couldn't hold back her tears when the journalist told her about the rumors that Jolie was two months pregnant.

The actress noted that she would love Pitt for "the rest of her days," and she couldn't help but get emotional at Leslie Bennetts when she brought up the possibility that Jolie and her ex-husband were expecting her first child together.

The journalist said that Aniston, who was 36 at the time, appeared to have been "stabbed in the heart" and that the Hollywood star "cried silently for several minutes" and that she was unable to continue the conversation.

As popular Friends' Rachel Rachel put it to Bennetts, she chose to believe her ex-husband's version of her that he had never cheated on her while they were married. When asked if she believed Brad and Ange were having an affair, Jen replied, "I choose to believe my husband." And then she added, "At this point I wouldn't be surprised at all, but I'd rather believe you."

Aniston recounted that Brad had told her that he wanted to work out what he wanted in life, as a single man, and that "it wasn't about another woman." However, the actor had already been photographed together with Angelina's adopted son, Maddox, on a beach on April 29, 2005.

“I would be a robot if I said that I did not feel moments of anger, pain and shame. I just don't know what happened. There are a lot of things I don't understand, a lot of things I don't know, and I probably never will, really," the actress said at the time, referring to those first images of her ex with Jolie in Kenya accompanied by Maddox, which showed a relationship that it took time. "The photographs shocked me, but hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Both Pitt and Jolie have always denied starting their relationship while the actor was married to Jen.

Jolie, 45, and Pitt, 56, had been a couple for twelve years and had been married for two years when the American actress filed for divorce in 2016 amid allegations of physical abuse against one of her children during a private flight.

Despite the sadness over a love story that did not have a happy ending, Jennifer admitted that she "felt lucky to have experienced" her marriage to the Oscar winner. The actors were married on July 29, 2000. Although the divorce was devastating, the actress said that she had no regrets. “I love Brad. I will love him for the rest of my life. He is a fantastic man. We spent seven very intense years together. It was a beautiful and complicated relationship.”

Aniston married actor Justin Theroux for the second time in 2015, after three years of relationship. A year later, in February 2016, they announced their separation. A few months later, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Pitt and Aniston have rebuilt their friendship over the years. In January of this year, the former Hollywood couple made headlines when they were photographed together backstage at the SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

2019 was a great year for both of them. Aniston returned to the small screen at the hands of Apple + with a dramatic role in The Morning Show, while Pitt, who spent several years away from Hollywood, returned in a big way at the hands of Tarantino.
