There is no better sign for him to stop making lousy movies.
Adam Sandler is one of the worst actors in Hollywood, and yet he is one of the most popular. The fact is that no one is safe from seeing at least one of his “comedies”, of which we cannot make a whole one.
And no, this is not about any editorial stance, or anything like that. In fact, even Adam Sandler's own children have their opinion of the movies where his father appears, and in short, they prefer to see something else.
This was revealed on the latest broadcast of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Adam offered an interview to promote his new standup show, sponsored by Netflix.
And well, in the middle of this interview, Sandler revealed what his children (Sadie, 10, and Sunny, 8) think of his movies.
This was what he said.
They beg me to see them. They always tell me 'please, it's not fair, let us see your movies, everyone is yelling at you in the street and we don't know what they are talking about. And when I show them one of my films, they spend 20 minutes and end up saying “can we see something else, please?”.
We don't know what Adam Sandler thinks or feels about his children's reaction, but we think we all want to feel proud of what our parents do. Poor Adam, poor thing.
