Fans are calling Keanu Reeves the "King of Respect" after they see he doesn't touch women when taking pictures
Keanu Reeves is proving he's a rare gem, especially after some recent stories about his incredible upbringing with fans and peers came to light. He radiates kindness, and that can't be pretense. On top of that, he's a movie star, talented and handsome.
The most recent story about the actor's undying kindness was spotted by a Twitter user, @KemziLinzi, who noticed that Reeves has a very particular habit of taking pictures with fans. The gentlemanly gesture observed by the user can be found in several images, including one with the star Dolly Parton.
Did you notice? It's as if Keanu's hands are always hovering in the air, away from the waist and arms of the different women he takes pictures with. The tweet went viral and had nearly 400,000 likes and 78,000 retweets. Some of the commenters agree with the idea that such a gesture proves that Reeves respects women (they're calling the actor the "king of respect"), while others think this is a paranoid act to evade any kind of accusations related to the act. #MeToo movement against sexual abuse.
Some people also argue that this custom is adopted in many Asian countries and that it would even have a name: “hand tag”. As Keanu is of Asian origin (according to the IMDB website, his father is of Chinese-Hawaiian descent), it is possible that he inherited the custom from his Chinese relatives.
