According to a recent book, the Queen berated Meghan Markle for complaining to a caterer about her vegan wedding food.
Ahead of the Duchess of Sussex's 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, Her Majesty reportedly interrupted the "heated exchange" during her burial on Monday.
Meghan was reportedly "quite upset" by one of the vegan alternatives as she enjoyed food for her big day at Windsor Castle.
The Duchess allegedly remarked that she could taste egg there, according to a source, which led to a "tense" conversation with one of the caterers.
The insider is quoted as saying, “Meghan was at the castle to sample some of the food, and told one of the caterers she could taste eggs,” by Katie in her book The New Royals.
"She got angry saying the dish was supposed to be vegan and macrobiotic, when suddenly the queen came in and said, 'Meghan, in this family, we don't talk to people like that.'"
“What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!”
The explosive events that allegedly occurred in the run-up to the Sussexes' wedding are described in Katie's book. Additionally, he claims the late monarch berated people other than Meghan.
Harry reportedly shouted "What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!" at Queen Angela Kelly's dresser, and the Queen is said to have given him a sour talk.

The late Dame Elizabeth Anson is quoted by Katie Nicholl as saying: "Preparing for the wedding has been really, really difficult for the Queen."
“She was very upset with the way Harry had behaved and some of his requests and the way he was going his way. I remember she was rather upset at how bestial Harry was. Their relationship was pretty badly damaged by it all.”
According to another Source cited by Katie, Meghan's decision to wear white to her wedding was "surprised" by the Queen.
She also references other rumors that surfaced in the run-up to the big event, such as Meghan and Kate's alleged row over Princess Charlotte's pantyhose and a row over the Duchess's tiara.
