The Daily Mail reports that after Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh's great-grandfather earlier this year, his parents decided they could handle the funeral.
The caption quoted a source as saying, “Of course, as parents, they thought long and hard about whether or not their children should accompany them.
"Of course little Louis is very young, but they think Charlotte and George are ready."
