The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were initially invited to Sunday's Buckingham Palace reception for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, but were later withdrawn.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not join other members of the royal family at a reception at Buckingham Palace for world leaders traveling to London to attend Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
According to the magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were initially invited to Sunday's event, although the palace has since now said the reception is exclusively "for active working members of the royal family".
Hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the reception will welcome foreign heads of state and official guests who have traveled to London for the late monarch's state funeral. Some 2,000 people are expected to gather at Westminster Abbey for the event.
The guests will also be received, in addition to the King and Queen, by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Princess Royal and the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
Although it was announced earlier this week that only active members of the royal family who hold military rank would wear their service uniforms to funeral events for the queen, Prince Harry, who served twice in Afghanistan during his 10-year career in the British Army, he will wear his military dress for the vigil.
This change has been expressly requested by King Charles, according to a palace source, and the decision was made without Prince Harry requesting a change, since he was prepared to wear any type of clothing, because the important thing was to honor her grandmother.
The couple were at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday when Queen Elizabeth's coffin arrived from Scotland, and they joined members of the royal family on Wednesday for a service in Westminster Hall after Prince Harry joined her father, brother and other family members in a procession through London.
