Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke hates s-x scenes as her brother is cameraman on show
Now that's a whole extra layer of awkward.
Game of Thrones is no stranger to a s-x scene, and while it's always a bit uncomfortable when they pop up, it's no doubt infinitely worse if you're in said scene and your family are watching.
Just ask Maisie Williams.
And it looks like this is something Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke had to wrestle with even while filming the series – no popping out for a cup of tea at the crucial moment, then – as she revealed that her brother works on the hit HBO series too, and he's been on set the days Dany and Jon Snow did the wild thing.
"He's in the camera department, which is brilliant," Emilia said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. "It's amazing," she added. "It's really nice."
Just not so nice when she has to film the s-x scenes.
"Yeah, so there are some days where he's like, 'Oh, I'll swing by', because he's in the next unit that's filming next door and I'll go, 'No it's good. I'm good, you can stay there'," Emilia explained.
"He's like, 'I just want to say hi, I haven't seen you in ages', and I'm like, 'No!'"
But it sounds like she was only doing him a favour, as when Jimmy asked who would have found that situation more awkward if he had popped in at an inopportune time, the actress replied: "Definitely him."
Earlier this year, Emilia revealed that she gets "a lot of crap" for filming n-de scenes and s-x scenes on the show, adding: "That, in itself, is so anti-feminist. Women hating on other women is just the problem. That's upsetting."
She continued: "There's not one part of the show that I would go back and redo. People ask me the n-dity question all the time. But the short answer is no, I would never change anything.
"You had to see those s-x scenes, as they couldn't just be explained."
Following on from this week's huge Battle of Winterfell, episode 4 of the final season is set to see the allied forces turn their attention back to Cersei Lannister and the battle for the Iron Throne.
And if you aren't sure where the series can go next, you can rest easy in the knowledge that Emilia couldn't find the words to describe how good the rest of the episodes are to Jimmy Kimmel.
