A classic photo of Jennifer Aniston in the '90s is auctioned to raise funds against Covid-19

One of the most iconic images of the actress will be put up for sale on June 12 along with 24 other portraits that will be auctioned by the traditional Christie's house.

The actress Jennifer Aniston, remembered by many for her role in her Friends, joined the solidarity movements that became popular during the current pandemic thanks to a very particular photo.

A famous portrait of him taken by photographer Mark Seliger in 1995 will be part of an auction of 25 photographs that will be in charge of the renowned Christie's.

"My dear friend @markseliger has partnered with @radvocacy and @christiesinc to auction off 25 of her portraits - including mine - for COVID-19 relief," Aniston wrote on her Instagram account.

The Hollywood celebrity shared a video in which Seliger can be seen revealing the iconic image, taken at one of the most popular moments for both Aniston and Friends.

"100% of the proceeds from the sales of this portrait will go to @NAFClinics, an organization that provides free coronavirus testing and care across the country to medically underserved people," the actress added of the auction, which has date for next June 12.

In addition to Aniston's photo, another 24 portraits of figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus or Amy Schumer will be sold to send the proceeds to different organizations.
