American singer Demi Lovato was forced to cancel her "Holy Fvck" tour due to health problems.
Demi Lovato is taking a short hiatus from her successful "Holy Fvck" tour. On Wednesday, October 5, the American singer shared that she needed to reschedule her tour date after losing her voice.
"Today I woke up and had absolutely no voice," Demi Lovato's statement read. “I'm so sorry, but it breaks my heart to tell you that I have to reschedule the concert. Tickets will be valid for a new date as soon as it is announced. This is the last thing I want to do, I'm having so much fun with all of you... I can't wait to see you again."
Demi Lovato's problems
Demi Lovato has always had issues with her weight and her eating habits. In the past, the “Stone Cold” singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with an eating disorder. Lovato has also been very open about her substance problems, and she also overdosed at one point, causing her family and friends to worry about her.
Why Demi Lovato Didn't Want Compliments About Her Weight Loss
As an eating disorder survivor, Demi Lovato has never shied away from speaking out about her recovery and speaking out against diet culture and its impact on mental health.
The 30-year-old singer took to her social media to post a reminder that her comments about her weight, even those meant to be positive, can have negative effects.
"I don't know who needs to hear this, but congratulating someone on her weight loss can be just as damaging as congratulating someone on her weight gain versus talking to someone recovering from an eating disorder," she wrote.
“If you don't know someone's history with food, please don't comment on her body. Because even if your intention is pure, it could leave that person awake at 2am. m. thinking too much about that statement,” she concluded.
