Actress Reese Witherspoon says that she wanted to be completely honest to her role and that's why she did the n-de scenes in her forthcoming movie "Wild".
The 38-year-old who portrays the role of novelist Cheryl Strayed in the movie, admits that she wanted to be as real and truthful as possible,
"I had to make a choice when I decided to do the film on how much I wanted to bear, I have a real story to tell here because Cheryl was completely honest when she wrote her book," she said.
With that mindset, the Academy Award winner agreed to do some n-ked scenes for the big-screen adaptation of the novel with the same name.
When asked how she felt doing the n-de scenes in the film, she said: "It was scary and challenging. It's not just a movie about somebody walking. It's really about someone who feels profoundly hurt and lost."
In the film, Witherspoon will be playing a former heroin addict who decided to tackle a 1,100-mile hike after experiencing several tragic events, mainly a devastating divorce caused by drug use and infidelity.
