Gwyneth Paltrow regrets her performance in Blind Love (Shallow Hal). The always skinny actress herself recently said that her worst performance was in the movie starring Jack Black where she plays the fat role.
Gwyneth expressed that it was a disaster and her least favorite performance of hers. In case you don't remember this movie, she plays two roles, one as a fat woman with a suit and makeup, of course, and another as a skinny one. Hal (Jack Black) is a very superficial man who receives a spell that makes him see people for what they are and not how they look, from there he sees Paltrow's character thin and beautiful, when in reality she is fat woman. He also sees his ugly friends as handsome.
The movie Shallow Hal, or Blind Love, has been heavily criticized for its numerous fat jokes, including scenes where Gwyneth's character breaks a chair, eats all the food, and is too heavy to be in a car and sinks a canoe.
When the movie came out, Gwynet Paltrow said that her experience (of wearing a fat suit) made her sympathize with fat people. She told W magazine that the first time she wore the fat suit in public, "No one made eye contact with me because she was obese."

She also commented that she realized that clothes for overweight people are horrible. Well, this only lasted for a little while, because on her Goop website she doesn't sell plus size clothes.
