Gwyneth Paltrow's kids have no interest in her wellness advice 'Can't give him a vitamin!'

Gwyneth Paltrow has said her children don't take after her mother when it comes to wellness and lifestyle.

Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, who is best known as an actress and for running the wellness and lifestyle brand Goop, has said her children are not always interested in following her sage lifestyle advice.

The Academy Award winner said her son Moses, 16, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, along with daughter Apple, 18, is not interested in listening to his mum.

She joked that he won’t even let her give him a “vitamin”.

Gwyneth said: “He's 16 and he will barely let me give him a vitamin.”

“It's also like knowing when to relent and give him his space,” she added, before explaining that her kids have free will to choose whether they will follow her healthy lifestyle.

“I try not to force anything on them.

“They were raised in an environment where wellness is important and they will adopt what they choose to, or not. They have free will.”

The actress also divulged that Apple is a tad more curious about wellness as she gets older.

“Apple, she tends to be more wellness-curious now at 18 than she was when she was kind of like, smack in the middle of her teens, so we'll see,” she told E! News.

She added that Apple has done Pilates and Tracy Anderson workouts with her, but doesn’t enjoy going hiking with her mum.

On the other hand, Moses enjoys keeping fit in his own way, particularly by skateboarding.

And though the Los Angeles native promoted healthy eating in her home, she admits that her children make their own choices outside of the house: “When they're out of the house, I'm sure they go for the Oreos and the McNuggets.

Speaking in a separate interview about her relationship with her children, she said it made her “sick” when Apple went to college, adding it was “truly horrifying”.

However, she told People that she is now “used to it” and is relieved about her daughter’s happiness.

Martin and Paltrow were married for 11 years, after meeting backstage at a Coldplay concert in 2002.
