Jennifer Aniston always knew her former husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s romance wouldn’t last long, a source has revealed.
An insider knocked down to We Weekly in 2016 that the Friends alum told her friend, “Yeah, it’s karma for you!” when she heard about Pitt and Jolie’s divorce.
“She always had a feeling that something would eventually happen with them,” the insider said at the time while noting that Aniston believed the High-speed train the actor loved it Evil star.
“She didn’t think Angelina was really the one Brad was supposed to stay with. She always thought Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.”
Another source told the outlet that while Aniston “kinda felt satisfied with Brad and Angelina’s split,” she “never wanted that for them or wished that for them.”
“Jen wishes Brad well and the best. She feels happy and she wants him to be happy too,” the source explained. “Jen holds no negativity from her marriage to Brad.”
Aniston and Pitt remained friends even after their divorce following their five-year marriage and seven-year romance.
Meanwhile, Pitt finds himself in legal trouble with Jolie, who accused him of physically assaulting their children during their infamous plane fight in 2016.
