The Big Bang Theory was a 'family friendly' comedy series that generally did not contain 'risque' scenes. Kaley Cuoco, despite the fact that her character, Penny, had a romantic relationship with Leonard, she never had to shoot a s-x scene as such, but always shot the before and after.
But of course, once the series was over and the actress wanted to participate in other productions, she realized that there were situations she wasn't used to... and bed scenes were one of them.
Cuoco recently worked on the series The Flight Attendant (which, by the way, is not bad at all) and had to face a few acting obstacles. It was Michiel Huisman, her co-star in the series, who was in charge of revealing in an interview for This Morning the worst experience the actress had while filming an intim-te scene.
A very awkward situation
“We were doing our first scene of this kind. We kissed in bed, under the sheets, and I realized that he was trying to float above me, without really leaning on my legs, "explained the 39-year-old actor who will be familiar to you for his role as Daario Naharis in the 'Game of Thrones' series.
At that moment, he decided to ask her what was happening to her and why she trembled every time they had to do a new take. It was then that she revealed to him that she was very uncomfortable because she had never really done anything like that.
“She was very uncomfortable and had no idea how to do that. He was trying not to touch me," the actor acknowledged. "I imagine this did not happen in The Big Bang Theory," joked Huisman, who accumulates a few "steamy scenes" in bed with Daenerys Taragryen.
Crash course in bed
Cuoco, a few months ago in an interview for USA Today, acknowledged that she was very surprised when, when asking the actor if she had already done this type of scene, he confessed: "yes, about 30 or 40 times." In that interview, she also acknowledged that Huisman had to "teach her" on the subject: "He had to clumsily teach me how to have fake s-x."
The Flight Attendant tells the story of Cassie Bowden (Cuoco), a stewardess with alcohol problems who, after a night of debauchery, wakes up next to a dead body... without remembering if she was the one who killed him.
