During the premiere of the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, directed by Quentin Tarantino, Lena Dunham and Brad Pitt starred in an embarrassing episode that exploded on the Internet.
On the red carpet of the film, in July 2019, in London, the actors were caught kissing each other on the cheek. The various international media bounced the photo and branded the Girls producer for having forced Angelina Jolie's ex-husband, who asked the actor to come clean about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.
After almost a year of that episode, Lena Dunham wanted to make things clear during an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last Monday, where she spoke about the controversy that was sparked by her approach to Brad Pitt.
"I don't know if you remember that they took a very strange photo of the two of us, well, the way the Internet read that image is that in some way I was harassing him and causing him great stress," said the film director.
“The truth is that I never forced Brad Pitt to give us a kiss. I respect him too much as a friend and as an artist,” she added.
To calm the situation, the actress was encouraged to tell an anecdote that she had with Angelina Jolie's ex-husband that night: “Brad took me to a room because he knew I was very nervous and we ate a pizza together in secret. I even told him that I really liked a ring he was wearing and he gave it to me.”
“Every time I wear it wonderful things happen to me. Seriously, he really is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I was just hysterical because suddenly I was surrounded by people I consider idols and he made me feel like the most beautiful person in the world, "she concluded.
Brad Pitt becomes the weather boy
During one of John Krasinski's broadcasts, Some Good News, Brad Pitt appeared as a surprise to give the weather report.
“I'm going to need a second to catch my breath. We should check the weather. Brad, what does it look like out there?” Krasinski said.
"Looks pretty good...yeah," Pitt responded.
