Madonna surprises again: what was done to her face?

At 63 years old, the singer Madonna continues to surprise us not only with her talent but also with her physical appearance. In addition to losing a tremendous figure, which we know she has sculpted for years with a lot of exercise and yoga routines, she now boasts a jovial face and fifteen-year-old skin, smooth, without spots or wrinkles.

She takes care of herself, but judging by recent publications on her own social networks, the singer of "Like a Virgin" has gone from showing off a swollen face in her cheekbones, lips and forehead, as can happen if she had received any type of treatment, to be seen a few weeks later with his face rested, firmer and more radiant, although questionably natural.

Let's go step by step. In early April, she shared a series of bizarre pre-Grammy messages that appeared on her official TikTok account. In the videos, the Detroit-born performer was trying to talk about her latest project: the remix of her smash hit "Frozen," which comes off her classic album Ray of Light (1998) and has now been recorded alongside the singer of Dominican roots Danielle Balbuena, aka 070 Shake Tap.

Wearing a transparent fabric blouse, with thick chains around her neck and braids, the Material Girl appeared 'kissing' the camera and zooming in on her face with very prominent cheekbones. Confused, some fans asked the Queen of Pop about the reason for the video and if everything was alright.

We went beyond questioning her facial transformation and decided to turn to medical experts who tell us what could have been done to look like a "little girl" because a few weeks after that video, she looked so pretty in Medellin where she participated in the anticipated Medallo concert on the map, from his 'partner' Maluma.

The diva took over the stage dressed in a pink suit and braids to perform the songs "MedellĂn", which she recorded as a duet with the 28-year-old urban singer, in her latest record production, Madame X (2019). They also performed the classic song "Music" together.

To understand Madonna's alarming change, we consulted in Miami with our advisor, Dr. Campos, who sums up with his experience what is so evident in the images. "Madonna's case is the classic case of a patient who has had many treatments over time and this has a cumulative effect that many call a pillow face," says the expert.

"Looking at the photos from when he was young to those of today, there are many evident changes starting with his chin that was probably fixed with an implant since it was very short, we also see how the cheekbones have been marked taking a more stylized air in the 90s and the decade of the two thousand", explains doctor Campos.

"At that stage she looked regal, but she was showing that she was getting her own treatments like Botox which she obviously has and facial fillers," he continues.

"In Madonna's particular case, fillers can initially give her face that smooth look while stimulating collagen production," he analyzes. "But the cumulative effect of fillers makes her face look too stressed and it's worse when added to excessive Botox because her features look frozen as was sought in decades past."

In short, our Miami expert believes that Madonna's case causes alarm and reaction from her fans due to her exaggeration. "Working against her are the excess of treatment, the excess of product and obviously the celebrity factor because some experts do not know how to say NO to a star." In his opinion this has become a double-edged sword for the Material Girl.

"It's a shame because her face at one point had a beautiful, very stylized shape," laments Campos. "Today it is a flat face and because of the pillow effect that she mentioned, with everything filled and everything tight, the result, far from being aesthetic, is unsightly."

After these forceful words, we also decided to consult in New York with our expert plastic surgeon, Dr. Mauro Romita, who attends and treats real women, to offer real and useful advice to look good at any age without exaggerating.

"It's about going through every stage of life looking natural, age-appropriate, but keeping it in moderation," he explains. "A good plastic surgeon must know his patient, analyze the photos of her youth to try to get closer to the real features and features of the patient and adapt them to her stage of life," he notes. "It is unnatural to want to appear from 25 to 65," he concludes.

In her opinion, if a woman takes care of herself and always has measure in her aesthetic maintenance process, advised by an expert, she will always look like herself, like the best version of herself, not like a bad copy of who she was in the past. her youth.

"Attacking each problem intelligently requires a doctor who acts with the least invasive technique, acting conservatively is the key to maintaining naturalness," he recommends.

"There are more options than Botox or synthetic fillers to treat each stage or decade of a woman's life, but if these are chosen as alternatives, it is essential not to accumulate and respect the time that the effect of these substances lasts before applying more."

Madonna surprises again: what was done to her face?

Dr. Romita believes that nothing is obvious and pleases more than a woman who knows how to take care of herself and mature gracefully, who goes to advisers who think of her benefit and who do not deceive her.

Perhaps for real women it is more feasible to achieve it than for a great star like Madonna, to whom we could only suggest caution and restraint so that she can say: "Enough is enough" before it is too late.
