There was the fresh faced girl-next door from the first Transformers movie, to the sultry 29-year-old star from today. Either way, she’s very much a MYA inspiration. But what do the experts and the Hollywood rumour-mill think? Did her features just mature or has surgery played its part. Let’s take a closer look…
Has Megan Fox had a nose job?
With rumours about her ever-changing beauty gathering speed, there have many claims that she underwent rhinoplasty surgery to straighten and refine the bridge of her nose. The tip of her nose also seems to have a straighter point rather than rounded as she did back in 2006.
What The Experts Say
According to Dr. Matthew Schulman, a New York-based cosmetic surgeon, Megan’s nose has changed noticeably over the years. He said: “In older photos, her nose appears wider and her nasal tip has a noticeable cleft. More recent photos show a more refined and narrow nose, as well as a smoother nasal tip.”

From one movie to the next, her features have become more chiseled in appearance with a sharp bone structure that has sparked gossip everywhere online – has she or hasn’t she used facial fillers?
What the Experts Say
Many surgeons have stated that she has turned to Botox and fillers to smooth her forehead, plump up her lips and enhance her cheeks for a fuller look.
Dr. Schulman agrees: “Her lips are more full and her cheekbones are higher. Likely the result of Restylane or Juvaderm.”
Her lips look natural, but that’s not stopped us from speculating. Has she used fillers or just got some new A-List Hollywood plumping gloss we just can’t get our hands on?
What Megan Fox Says
To put a stop to the rumours, the star posted a Facebook album back in 2011 called 'Things You Can't Do with Your Face when You Have Botox'; the pictures showed her posing for selfies scrunching up her face and creasing her forehead.
Back in 2010 she shared with the world her thoughts on cosmetic surgery, saying: “I would encourage anyone to first speak with a therapist, to try and figure out where this want comes from because a lot of times it’s not related to your teeth or your nose or your chin — the surgery is not going to alleviate that insecurity for you. If, then, you feel, ‘This is something that I want to do", then do it. It’s amazing that we have the technology to do the stuff that we do.”
The Verdict
There’s no doubt there have been changes in her appearance since her Hollywood debut, but with no admission from the star, we’re still questioning whether she's had anything done. Growing up has clearly had an impact on Megan as there are 5 years difference between the above photos
We’ve all seen endless make-up tutorials on YouTube and the amazing work make-up artists can create (remember she’s in make-up everyday on set and has personal stylists at her beck and call!) – a plumper pout could always be easily achieved with a good lip liner! But she’s a Hollywood actress and her face is everywhere – discrete work could easily be done with the world’s best surgeons on your doorstep. Her perfect face does have to keep her on the big screen too.
