Momoa was kind and caring toward Clarke during their intim-te scenes

"Game of Thrones" has been heralded as one of the greatest shows of all time, but that adulation has not shielded it from criticism. Viewers and critics have called out the HBO series for its gratuitous s-x and n-dity. Emilia Clarke appeared in numerous n-de scenes in the first season of "Game of Thrones," oftentimes without any clear plot-related reason to justify the stunt.

Since the actress was 23 with only a few acting credits to her name, she was understandably uneasy not wearing clothes on set. To make matters worse, Clarke's first intim-te scene on "Game of Thrones" involved her character being s-xually assaulted by her husband.

While filming the upsetting scene with her castmate, Jason Momoa, he did his best to make her feel at ease and protected, which is what every young actor deserves from their scene partners.

As quoted by Yahoo! News, Clarke told the Armchair Expert podcast that Momoa "took care of her" and "was so kind and considerate" toward her. She added that he demanded the crew give her a robe to cover up and keep warm between takes. Clarke stated that the uncomfortable s-x scenes were much more bearable when she "got to do them with Jason ... because he was like, 'No, sweetie, this isn't okay.'"

Clarke's account of Momoa's on-set behavior proves what a warmhearted and thoughtful performer he is. It's a personality trait that shines through, even when he's playing a ruthless character like the Dothraki khal.
