US model Kate Upton went from poise to pratfall during a photoshoot with an unco-operative ocean.
Upton, 25, was posing for Sports Illustrated on an Aruba beachside outcrop when a sweeping wave washes over the rock and knocks her off her feet.
The magazine posted the video of the mishap to Instagram, admitting things got "a little rocky" during the shoot.
In the video, Upton is posing wearing just a skirted bikini bottom when she appears to notice the inbound wave.
Commendably, she maintains her photo-ready stance until an assistant rushes out to offer her his arm.
Her lack of free hands appears to impede her balance and despite the help she is washed off the rock, prompting a frenzy of activity as people dash in to help.
Happily for her she retained her modesty by keeping her back to the camera.
It has not been confirmed whether the photos will eventually make it into Sports Illustrated's 2018 Swimsuit issue.
