In one of the episodes of the series, Winona participated as a guest star and starred in a memorable scene with Jennifer, whom she defined as a very good "kisser".
During the decade that it aired on TV, Friends became the favorite program of millions of viewers around the world, who enjoyed the performances of its protagonists and also the occasional appearance of Hollywood stars, such as Winona. Ryder, who starred in a memorable scene in which he kissed Jennifer Aniston.
Seeing two celebrities kissing meant a big shock at the beginning of this century, but Winona was very disappointed with the outcome of the scene, the Beetlejuice actress explained in an interview with Wenn.
She said she was upset because the viewers missed all the real passion that the chapter should have.
"When I saw the episode, all you see is hair and you don't see lips. I was a little discouraged because we had a couple of opportunities to make very beautiful kisses. (Jennifer) She is a very good kisser," explained the actress.
The protagonist of Stranger Things was a guest in episode 20 of season seven, where she played Melissa Warburton.
The chapter, entitled "Rachel's Big Kiss", tells how Rachel meets Melissa (Winona Ryder) one of her friends in the famous Central Park cafeteria. Both studied together at the university and in the plot they end up meeting to have dinner and remember old times.
What her friends discover is that Rachel and Melissa had a little romance back in the day, as Rachel tells Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) about it.
Her friend doesn't believe her and Rachel asks her to go with her to dinner so that Melissa herself can tell her about the kiss they had in college.
Back at the restaurant, Rachel tries to remind her friend about her kiss and that they were wearing a swimsuit made of coconuts, which Melissa, at first, says that it sounds really weird, because she doesn't remember anything.
After the entire dinner denies the kissing affair, Rachel kisses her goodbye and only then does Melissa admit that she does remember everything about her and that she has dreamed of her ever since. Rachel doesn't know what to say, and Melissa eventually brags that it was all a joke and leaves.
In the last scene of the chapter, Phoebe kisses Rachel on her mouth and says that she's not doing anything wrong, to Rachel's bewilderment.
The legendary series premiered on September 22, 1994, and over a decade of broadcasts its protagonists went from unknown to global stars.
Friends went off the air on May 6, 2004, and the career for its members has not been the same.
Who undoubtedly remains one of the Hollywood figures is Jennifer Aniston, who turned 50 last February.
Courteney Cox turned 55 in June and to celebrate she was accompanied by Aniston herself and Lisa Kudrow.
"How lucky I am to celebrate my birthday with them. I love you girls. A lot," the actress wrote next to the image that she shared with her millions of followers on her Instagram.
More than 1 million "likes" got the capture in a few hours. Aniston's ex, Justin Theroux, was one of the many celebrities who sent Cox messages on her birthday.
Lisa Kudrow also shared a photo with the birthday girl with the message: "Remember, Court, I will always be older than you. Happy birthday, beautiful Courteney."
Cox, for her part, replied, "You're only wiser, dear. Never older. I love you."
